Our Timeline

Hey everybody, sorry I haven't done really anything on here in a long time. With College and all, I haven't had the time to draw anything other than sketches and stuff. But I'm working on something big right now, and I'm currently drawing it in sections on flash cards so that it will be easier to draw them digitally, since it's easier to draw on paper than on the computer.

But anyway, I'm still working on the timeline, and I'm here to show off a section of it, which is the Ninjago timeline! It will be integrated into the main timeline, and a lot of stuff happens alongside Ninjago in terms of years (like Galaxy Squad, Lego Universe, and Ultra Agents, for example), but I'll be focusing mostly on the Ninjago events. 

Also keep in mind, this is an entirely different planet than Earth, with a different history. For example, the Pilot starts in 1895. This does not mean this stuff happened way in the past (I've had to clarify that with some people whom I showed this to). Also, I'll be adding "AUY" behind the years in the main timeline, which stands for "Aurum Years." Since there are hundreds of other planets with different perspectives on time, it makes sense to clarify which planet it is.

Oh, and one more thing. Bobbricks and my Ninjago is slightly different than the canon one. We nerfed the guys in Cloud Kingdom, making them keepers of history and prophesy, and not people who can change things by writing it down. And the masters of Fire and Water during the Serpentine War are Kai and Nya's grandparents, not parents. Fire and Water both marry different people, who's children marry and have Kai and Nya. These are meant to help the canon timeline make a little more sense, since it's pretty screwed up. And the FSM's name is Aurumin. Now here we go.

Garmadon was born in 1532, making him 363 years old by the beginning of the show. Wu was born in 1549, making him 344 years old. They were kept children by Aurumin (FSM), since they would begin to age once he died and his power over them ended. The full explanation is kind of complicated to explain without going into other themes, so here's a really simplified version.

1792 AUY- Julien is born. 

1803 AUY- Garmadon is bitten by the Great Devourer after it was released by the Serpentine. The enraged Aurumin destroys Ouroboros in retaliation.

1821 AUY-The master of water (Serpentine war) is born.
1823 AUY-The master of fire is born.
1825-Aurumin dies. Wu and Garmadon begin to age.

1836 AUY- Morro is born.
1839 AUY- Chen is born.
1840 AUY- Misako is born.
1845 AUY- Fire's wife gives birth to Kai's father.
1846 AUY- Julien builds Zane at age 54.
1847 AUY- Morro is trained by Wu at age 11.
1848 AUY- Water gives birth to Nya's mother.

1859 AUY- The Serpentine War. Chen is 20, Misako is 19, and Morro is 23. By the end of the War, General Arcturus and his army are banished to the Cursed Realm, as well as the Elemental Masters who joined their side, such as the Master of Earth (Cole's grandfather) and Bansha, Master of Sound. Morro was also supposed to be sent, but was given a lesser sentence by Wu. Morro would be Cursed once he died, so he spent the rest of his life searching for a way out of the Cursed Realm.

1869 AUY- Garmadon ultimately succumbs to the Devourer venom, after 56 years. He is banished to the Underworld.
1871 AUY- Morro dies at the age of 35, and is sent to the Cursed realm.

1877 AUY- Kai and Cole are born, making them 18 in Pilot.
1878 AUY- Jay is born, making him 17.
1879 AUY- Nya is born, making her 16. Nya's mother dies in childbirth.
1883 AUY- Lloyd is born in the Underworld, making him 12. (Misako was able to enter and leave the Underworld with the help of Mystake, and so she visited Garmadon from time to time)
1887 AUY- Kai's father disappears.
1888 AUY- Julien dies at the age of 96, but is resurrected by Samukai in order to create weapons for them.
1891 AUY- Julien builds Echo Zane at the lighthouse.

1895 AUY- Garmadon escapes from the Underworld, the ninja are assembled. 
1896 AUY- The Serpentine release the Great Devourer again, and is killed by Garmadon. Immediately after, the Overlord rises to power again and tries to take over Ninjago. he is stopped. In the same year, Cyrus Borg comes over to Ninjago from East Astor and builds a Borg Industries branch there. Julien dies again at the age of 104.
1898 AUY- The Overlord takes over Borg Tower and is ultimately killed by Zane, at the expense of his own life.
1899 AUY- Chen, now 60, invites all of the Elemental Masters to his island for the Tournament of Elements. Morro escapes from the Cursed Realm when it is opened by Garmadon after the Second Serpentine War. A month later, Morro possesses Lloyd. Nya's water element develops.
1900 AUY- The Djinn Nadakhan attempts to recreate his homeworld after it is destroyed, using Ninjago as a base. He is stopped by Jay, who wishes that Nadakhan had never been found and that none of the events he caused happened.

And there you go, all of the major events that happen. Of course, there is the war between the Overlord and Aurumin, where the Elemental Masters are created, but I haven't found a place for that to go yet. Thanks for reading!
